Sonop is a luxurious tented camp with a history, originally designed as a refined British colonial experience in the 1920s. Nestled at the southern extremity of the Namib Desert within the Karas region, this exceptional lodge is the ideal retreat into the breathtaking panoramic desert landscape.
The tented camp’s ten spacious tents were built on top of boulders, giving guests a unique journey through time. Each tent is ornately furnished with antiques made of fine materials, precious wood and colourful carpets, an invitation to live the life of wealthy explorers of an era past.
